We had a bee infestation in our house, an African bee infestation. Anything ring a bell? We’ve all heard about the killer African bees that are threatening our nation… but take it from us, they’re not all that bad. And they have really good tasting honey! Our friend Wayne Clendenen came out and helped us remove these bees from our wall. We had hoped to catch the queen so we could easily transplant the hive into a new location, but alas she escaped! I had been dying to take photos of Wayne doing a hive removal, unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to this time (Emily manned the camera), I did however get to work next to Wayne and learn the ins and outs of removing bees from a wall!
