Last Wednesday (and hopefully every Wednesday to follow) one of the IEC resident entrepreneurs is going to present their business to the whole group, so everyone can stay up to date with what’s going on in everybody’s businesses. Just a small way to help us be more organized. At the presentation, we learned a lot of interesting stuff about Jay’s business: Reconcraft. You’ll have to stay tuned to find out more, as I haven’t edited the video yet, and I don’t feel like typing it all out. <3

Maultsby Family Reunion

So for the first time since we’ve been married, all the Maultsby families got together to reunite in Wilmington, NC. Here’s the recap: Laurence’s father had 5 siblings (now 4, his brother Gene passed a few years ago in a sailing accident), and each sibling’s family wore a different color t-shirt. Daddy Jim (my father-in-law)’s family color was light blue. Each family shared music, stories, and updates on their family’s recent accomplishments. We also ate, drank, swam, played with babies, and were generally otherwise merry. It was surely a great time had by all, which is why I’m posting so many photos. These 80 are narrowed down from nearly 500, so you are welcome I did not post them ALL! We’re just all so damn good looking. Family rules!

Julien’s official 6 month (half-birthday) unbirthday! We did all the important “6 month” things. Rode in a shopping cart basket. Ate stage 2 baby food. Sat in a restaurant high chair. OK well that’s pretty much all you can do when you’re 6 months old. But it was an exciting day, nonetheless.
