St John has literally been covered by a rain cloud for the past few days, which makes photographic explorations of the island nearly impossible (unless you have an underwater housing- which I don’t… yet!).   So my Saturday afternoon and evening was spent compositing a number of photos that we’ve taken while being on the island.

Emily and I had a shoot down in Cruz Bay for the St. John Sun Times. Specifically, it was an ad shoot for P&S Water delivery.  Water is a precious/rare commodity here on St John, as there are no natural fresh water sources (save for what falls from the sky). Paris, the owner of the company, also runs a successful car rental business in Cruz Bay.  Emily did a kick ass job shopping it.  Afterward, we stopped by watermelon bay on our way back and took in the scenic sunset.  Emily found a neat piece of driftwood that she decided to carry home with her.
