We enjoyed so many fantastic sunsets at Vista Caribe during the Caspe family’s visit.  Here’s another one.

It was Henry’s last ‘Sunday funday.’  We all decided that we should make the best of it and caravan out to Cinnamon Bay to celebrate.  There was volleyball, beer, cliff jumping, bikinis, water, and good times.  We’ll miss Henry, but I’m sure our paths will cross again soon.

em and i made a last minute decision to head to st johns for a scouting trip (it’s hit the top of our list as possible new move locations).  because we packed for boston weather, and not tropical, we had to go shopping for additional wardrobe pieces.  after spending an hour and some change in Loehmann’s department store, we headed to Brookline to meetup with becca and check out her new apartment.

that said… on with the show!

SO. em and i spent the entire night packing for our 530am flight.  we decided to spend time picking out costumes that were unfamiliar to us to wear while we were up there.  the trip signifies the beginning of a new start for both of us, so trying out new skins is a definite must. this series documents the first leg of our trip: em’s journey through her closet (aka silly fashion shoot part two).

this is how we spent our saturday. dreaming up absolutely ridiculous things to photograph ourselves doing.

what began as an exploration in lighting techniques (a catch light study) turned into a a really fun (weird) portrait series… using saran wrap stretched across our faces.  kudos to laura johnston for inspiring our play this evening.

after being told that it was illegal to walk in the woods surrounding the Old Brunswick Town historic site, emily and I went a few miles down the road to explore the Brunswick County Nature Park.

Some snapshots taken in the kitchen the night before become rediscovered when Laurence leaves me alone with his wacom tablet.. ALL day.  For the first time EVER.  Needless to say, it was an entertaining experience for me.
