I’m a member of the local art/film community with connections in LA, NYC, Paris, Barcelona, Madrid, and London and regularly use local Wilmington photographers in order to boost the exposure of the area and its local artists because of the great many talented people that populate this great, small town. Regardless of your intentions with this poorly executed “exercise” in Photoshop, which I might add, only proves that you need far more practice in the said program before calling yourselves anything near professional, it pales in comparison to the fact that you used other photographers work, artists in your same genre, in order to make fun of one person. No, and I repeat, NO artist considering themselves professional with any hopes of making this into any sort of career would ever, EVER steal someone else’s work, especially of the same genre, for any “exercise,” and especially then proceed to publicly post the exercise on their professional website. Consider yourselves blacklisted in this town, along with anyone stupid enough to risk their reputations by working with you.

dear chad@oth.com,
if this is really you, which I doubt greatly, then shouldn’t you stop using your one tree hill email address, since clearly you’re not on the show anymore as of now?
and if it isn’t you, which is more likely, then whoever used that email address to add validity to their post is guilty of far more than we are. Have a nice day!

and how come none of these people complained

or when vanity fair did the same thing to get “back” at fox news for posting two photoshopped images:

nobody questioned THEIR credentials after the fact.
seems like it’s the same game everyone is playing. there will always be haters and there will always be supporters. when your job revolves around the objectification of people through images, the ideas we objectify will change depending on the person we’re representing at the time. I think that’s fair enough.
